A Waves registration form, a medical release form, and a USA Swimming registration form (with a copy of birth certificate for new swimmers only) must be turned in for swimmers to participate in any practice. The Westlake Rec Center requires everyone using the facilities to have a membership card. If you are not a member and would like information on how to swim please CLICK HERE and contact Head Coach John Bailey
SPRING / SUMMER LONG COURSE SEASON 2010
Starting April 12th until first week of August (depending on meets)
Waves SILVER AND GOLD Group 4/12/10 to 8/?/10 = $250
Waves BRONZE Group 4/12/10 to 8/?/10 = $230
Waves GREEN & WHITE group 4/12/09 to 8/?/10 = $210
Continuing Waves only need to turn in payment
For NEW Waves swimmers only, there also would be a seasonal USA Swimming Registration of $28.50 and Waves Registration fees of $30
New Waves must turn in all three registration forms & a copy of your birth certificate.
PAYMENTS - You can make payments for the Waves fees
1. Pay 60% with your registration & the balance by May15.
2. If you only want to swim June 1 or just after June 1 the fee is 60 %

Here are the 2009-10 season fees as a reference

All of the fees listed INCLUDE:
- The $48 One year USA Swimming registration & Splash Magazine
- The $30 One year Waves registration fee
- Waves T-shirt and team cap
Waves GREEN & WHITE Group = $425
1 hour practices, primarily elementary school and other beginning swimmers.Waves BRONZE Group = $475
1 1/2 hour practices, primarily 5th & 6th grade swimmers, plusnewer older swimmers and more experienced younger swimmersWaves SILVER AND GOLD Group = $525
2+ hour practices, Silver is primarily 7th & 8th grade swimmers, plusnewer High School swimmers and more experienced younger swimmersGold is the more accomplished High school swimmer and the best younger swimmersHigh School Swimmers (Silver or Gold Group practice) - 9/3/2009 to 3/17/2010
High school Pre-season: 9/2/2009 until HS season starts plus all Oct / Nov USA Meets
Includes High school Post-season until approximately 3/17/2010.
Participation in all dual meets & most other meets before 12-1-09 and any qualified championship meets after the HS season is required for High school Waves
The Fee Is $355 per HS swimmer
FAMILY DISCOUNT - The Waves also give a discount for families with more than one swimmer ( not including HS Waves) . A second swimmer is reduced $30 and a third swimmers is reduced $60. The fourth or more swimmer there are no fees other than registration fees.
PAYMENTS - You can make payments for the Waves fees
1. Pay Half with your registration at the beginning of the season & the second 50% in December.
2. Pay 40% with your registration at the beginning of the season & make a payment of 20% by the first of October, November, & December.

New Swimmers
The Waves encourage new swimmers to give our team a try. You don't know how good you can be unless you start somewhere. Swimmers can find out if the Waves are right for them.....
-A 1 day trial is free but you do need a $5 Rec Center guest pass if you are not a member.
-Or do a 2-week trial period for $25 + The guest pass (The Rec Center can give you a $20 for 5 visits guest pass).
Please stop by as a guest of the Waves and check out the team and our great workout facility. This will give you a good opportunity to evaluate what Waves swimming can do for you. A club registration form, a medical release form, and a USA Swimming registration form must be turned in for swimmers to participate in any practice.
You Can Join At Any Time Of The Year!
The start of the season is the best time to begin with the Waves but that may not work for everyone. If you would like to start with the Waves at any time, any day during the year, please come on down and get in the pool. The sooner the better, you can start getting better today!
We can prorate fees and literately get you up to speed in no time.
